25degrees, shortsleeves, happy! Start friday morning, went through it all systematically, he loves the floor-padding and did the passagy-trot in all movements then the tempi-twos, piaffe-passage transitions and half pass. His walk is real good now as a result of the long walks in forests and working out top-line alot. He always wants to be good and do his best and be understood, very good student. Donoso sunbathing. After lunch his turn, I am doing short-effective workouts keeping him in shape considering the bleeding in patella cross-ligament, that he has had since August, needs to heal 100%. He is full on and asks for more, has so much in him it is hard for us both to hold back. Saturday working clients, horses in gym (walker). Then I had a complete breakdown of my 15 DAYS old computer. Had to do a total software-restart (or whatever it is called) which means you loose ALL information AND you have to reinstall absolutely everything, uff! Purchase return of computer not allowed after 14 days, great. Also, as the screen has such super-fantastic-supreme quality, as they said in the shop, it makes my eyes hurt and I get a headache. Perfect. Very close I didn't throw it out of the window. This is Start sunbathing, his neck is super flexible, unreal, like a tentacle! Crappy quality photo but Javier's camera doesn't want to play, either. Never mind, the sun is shining and we all got a tan!

Home in Spain

Start & Donoso in their spanish home. Donoso's neighbour is a mare but this doesn't bother him whatsoever, he is busy looking out the window, how cool isn't that! Start has a mardy PRE stallion by his side that loves to show his teeth etc, occasionally Start rears and stays there for a little while being the tallest and most handsome in the stable and like this tells his grumpy neighbour to shut up.

Sweden - Spain

We love Sweden, green grass,  ***** star lyxury stables with first class food, attention all day long, and then prepared not-too-hard - not-too-soft roads in forests so you can canter as long as you like, rivers, mountains, well organized competions etc. But we are so happy to be in Spain. Today was a glorious short sleave day, sunshine and 22 degrees, horses are shining, I am shining and to ride in white-fiber padded sand paddocks that doesn't make legs dirtly, to music, looking out over mountains is just really hard to beat. In Sweden farriers tend to be mardy and grumpy, you have to be sooo greatful they come to earn their living. Here the farrier is singing doing a artwork making feet look not only perfect but also shiny like they are dressed up for a party. People are smiling, music is catching. Boxes are constantly being cleaned, staff are service-minded and friendly and very patient with a fussy horse-mum like myself and people are happily enjoying their day with their horses and company. Lovely.
